Visiting Hesquiaht Harbour?

Beginning in 2010, Hooksum Outdoor School is offering overnight accomodation and meals at our facility! We frequently get asked: How can I come back to Hooksum and bring my wife or girlfriend or boyfriend or children or parents or friends? How can we visit Hooksum?

For 2010, stays and meals can be BOOKED. (Please note that we will accept pre-bookings only, so as not to interfere with our Training, school and group programs.)

If you know you will be kayaking, hiking, surfing, or just visiting Hesquiaht Harbour, come and see us! Instead of getting caught in the west coast rain and storms, enjoy the comfort of our longhouse. Dine in elegance on the beach at Ayyi’saqh. Experience both the protected inner waters and beaches of Hesquiaht Harbour and the exposed outer coastline from the safety of Hooksum Outdoor School.

$40 per person

Accomodation in the Hooksum Longhouse gives you the feel of a traditional west coast longhouse, while enjoying modern features like skylights and a large domed fireplace.  

Sleeping is hostel-style – guests are asked to provide their own sleeping bags – on the benches/bunks in the Longhouse.

Meals are hearty, healthy, and include beverages.  We often feature fresh local seafood.  Special diets are readily met.
