CUSTOMIZED Group Programs IN OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE Hooksum Outdoor School specializes in designing custom programs. Whether your group is interested in a quiet weekend retreat, an immersion into the natural and cultural history or Hesquiaht territories, or a challenging week-long surfing adventure, WE WILL ARRANGE A PROGRAM TO SUIT YOU. At Hooksum, learning takes place outside of the classroom, in the natural world. Local, knowledgeable and experienced guides help everyone to get the most of their experience.

Learning about the natural environment and cultural landscape of Hesquiaht Harbour Coastal hiking Sea kayaking and canoeing Remote surfing - beginner to advanced

Accommodation is in the Hooksum Outdoor School Longhouse. Meals are hearty and plentiful, and often feature local seafood and freshly baked goods. Vegetarian and special diets are available on request. Our on-site boat , "Moonaquin", a 19.5 foot Eaglecraft, is driven by Steve Charleson with a lifetime of experience on the waters of the Hesquiaht area. Click here to see our gallery of photos
